Job summary

ComEd is seeking a Project Manager to oversee transmission, substation, distribution, gas and IT projects. You will lead cross-functional teams across multiple operating areas, ensuring scope, schedule and budget adherence while managing safety performance and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities include developing and executing project plans, supporting capitals via business cases, and coordinating with internal and external resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 2–4 years PM experience, or HS diploma with 3–6 years PM experience
• Ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively and foster culture change
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader under competing priorities
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and presentation skills
• Experience in budgeting, scheduling, requirements engineering and reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead or support project and program performance across transmission, substation, distribution, gas, IT and organizational initiatives
• Manage costs, schedule, scope and risks with recovery plans as needed
• Interface with stakeholders to coordinate project requirements
• Develop strong working relationships with team members and contracting resources
• Communicate with sponsors and stakeholders on project issues and provide necessary information to leadership
