Job summary

ComEd in Illinois is seeking a Project Manager to lead transmission, substation, distribution, and information technology initiatives with cross-functional teams. You will own scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring safety performance and timely project execution from business case through closeout.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in engineering or related field, CAPM or PMP within two years, and a proven track record in managing complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 4–7 years of project management experience, or 6–9 years of related experience with a high school diploma.
• CAPM certification or CAPM within two years of entry (PMP also acceptable).
• Demonstrated success at managing projects across multiple disciplines and teams.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader with multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Own project performance for major transmission, substation, distribution, gas, IT initiatives and programs.
• Develop recovery plans to keep costs, schedule and scope within approved limits.
• Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders and present to sponsors and executives.
