Job summary

Ampcus, Inc. in White Plains, NY, seeks a Project Engineer I to support its Customer Project Delivery team in delivering energy efficiency projects across lighting, HVAC, and building systems.

You will work with clients to develop projects that reduce energy consumption and improve performance. You will prepare engineering calculations and cost analyses, manage multiple projects, and ensure compliance with design codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• PE license preferred; project management experience.
• PMPC or CEM certification, or advanced engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent client at meetings and provide presentations.
• Prepare calculations, estimates and cost analyses.
• Manage multiple energy projects (lighting, HVAC, controls, water/wastewater).
• Develop design documents and specifications and evaluate bid results.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety and environmental procedures.
• Coordinate activities between contractors, consultants, and vendors to assure QA.
