Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a Project Manager – Energy to lead electrical construction projects from planning through closeout. The role involves on-site and office work, coordinating with field teams, and delivering within budgets and schedules.

Ideal candidates have experience managing renewables or PV projects, a PMP or similar certification, and a background in construction management or related fields. CEI emphasizes safety, integrity, and innovation in a dynamic energy team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum three years in renewable energy, PV preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead projects and project teams from qualification through estimate, pre-construction, mobilization, execution, and closeout within budgets and timeframes.
• Establish project execution plan and provide scheduling and coordination for each project with the field team.
• Identify project risks and develop recovery action plans.
• Manage project financials, review invoices, track budget variance and productivity, and report on performance.
• Negotiate change orders and maintain customer/subcontractor relationships; source new opportunities.
• Develop and mentor a high-performance team to ensure growth and development.
