Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a Project Engineer for Energy projects in La Salle, IL. This role supports field, project management, and customer teams, coordinating material deliveries and managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

You will work on-site or in the office, with learning and growth opportunities, and a path toward project management. Salary ranges from $55,500 to $72,000 with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities across North America's projects.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licensure/Certifications: None required.
• Experience: 0 years required; 2 years preferred.
• Driving record: Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Act as key point of contact with internal customers for specific scopes of work.
• Participates with Project Management on the execution of estimating activities including project bids and change orders.
• Contributes to effective job start meetings and team meetings.
• Supports the team by coordinating material onsite delivery dates with the project schedule.
• Partners with CEI safety professionals to identify hazards and document.
• Maintains complete and accurate RFI, submittal and change order logs. Maintains an organized filing system and structure.
• Maintains current drawing log and distributes new information to team members and subcontractors.
