• Coordinate due diligence and closings for complex energy and infrastructure projects.
• Manage multiple sophisticated transactions in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide excellent client service and clear communication throughout deal lifecycle.

Energy & Project Finance Associate Attorney

Compensation

$235,000 – $390,000+

Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Energy & Project Finance Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 50 firm in Chicago.

This is an excellent opportunity for a transactional attorney interested in sophisticated energy, infrastructure, and project finance transactions involving complex financing structures and major development projects.

Ideal Background

• 3–6 years of project finance, energy, infrastructure, or related transactional experience
• Experience representing developers, sponsors, lenders, investors, or financial institutions in sophisticated project finance transactions
• Experience with renewable energy, conventional energy, infrastructure, or other large-scale development projects
• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, financing documents, security documents, project agreements, and related transaction documents
• Experience with debt financing, acquisition financing, construction financing, or other structured project financings
• Renewable energy experience involving solar, wind, battery storage, or other energy transition projects is a plus
• Experience conducting due diligence and coordinating complex transaction closings
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated transactions in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
