Job summary

Generate Capital is seeking a Counsel for Project Development to support energy projects from inception through construction. This role requires strong legal expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with development teams.

The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of legal experience, a JD from an accredited law school, and a solid understanding of energy project development. The role is hybrid and offers a competitive salary ranging from $200,000 to $275,000, plus additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Approximately 4–8 years of legal experience.
• Active bar membership required.
• Collaborative with strong judgment under ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal counsel for energy projects.
• Negotiate and draft various development agreements.
• Manage regulatory compliance matters across jurisdictions.
• Support asset management matters and dispute resolution.
