Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. is seeking a senior lawyer to support development and construction of energy facilities across the United States. The role involves advising on complex legal matters, managing budgets, and representing the company in agency proceedings and litigation.

The ideal candidate has 10–12 years of relevant experience, holds an LLB/JD, and demonstrates strong research and analytical capabilities across federal and state law.

Qualifications

Requires an LLB or JD from an accredited law school and being licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdictions.
At least 10–12 years of professional experience in a specialized area of law.
Extensive knowledge of legal principles, practices and procedures for complex assignments.
Excellent legal research, analytical abilities and up-to-date knowledge of federal and/or state law.

Responsibilities

Plan, conduct, and supervise complex legal assignments.
Evaluate legal and business risks and advise clients accordingly.
Interpret and apply organizational policy according to law.
Represent the company in agency proceedings and litigation.
Prepare and revise budgets and early matter assessments involving outside counsel.
Provide leadership to less experienced attorneys and support staff.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
