Aquent is seeking a Project Controls Specialist, Scheduler for a leading energy and utility client. The role focuses on transforming complex plans into actionable schedules and precise estimates that drive project success in critical infrastructure.

You will influence schedule outcomes and ensure rigorous controls and reporting. Ideal candidates bring hands-on Primavera P6 experience, strong communication, and a track record of delivering accurate estimates, cost claims, and recovery schedules

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3+ years direct scheduling experience in energy or utility sectors.
• Hands-on Primavera P6 scheduling with WBS, durations, and resource loading.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update estimates and integrated project schedules to drive efficient execution.
• Provide CPM analysis, time impact, delay analysis, and schedule updates.
• Ensure credibility and accuracy of estimates and schedules.
• Prepare time and cost claims and historical data for improvements.
• Apply advanced estimating/planning techniques and software tools.
• Maintain schedule controls and support continuous improvement within the team.
