Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/related field with 3+ years experience, or Associate with 5+ years, or HS with 7+ years.
• 3+ years of experience at an energy/utility company.
• 2+ years using Primavera, preferably P6.
• Knowledge of design scheduling, construction scheduling, program scheduling and cost & resource loading.
• Strong communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional work groups and projects.
• Working knowledge of financial & economic analysis, project & risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update estimates and integrated project plans and schedules for efficient execution.
• Analyze project estimates or schedules, including CPM, time impact and delay analysis, and periodic updates.
• Ensure the credibility of information in estimates and schedules.
• Assist with preparation of project time and/or cost claims.
• Develop and record historical estimate/schedule information and lessons learned.
• Apply methodologies and tools for estimating/planning/scheduling and CPM software.
• Ensure required estimating/planning controls are implemented and maintained.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the estimating/scheduling organization.
• Develop master and detail schedules with milestones, WBS, costs, labor, equipment, and resource leveling.
• Monitor schedule progress and inform management of changes.
• Prepare schedule progress reports, trend charts, and forecast reports.
• Analyze effects on critical path, implement recovery schedules and alternatives.
