Job summary

Walker-Miller Energy Services in Illinois is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support the implementation of marketing strategies for energy efficiency programs with utility and government clients. You will manage communications, develop materials, and help educate customers about energy savings.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with design, programs, operations, outreach, and vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in advertising, marketing, or communications.
3-5 years in marketing/PR/agency or consulting environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presenting and interpersonal skills.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and teamwork abilities.
Experience representing diverse cultures in marketing projects and campaigns.
Detail oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
Experience implementing marketing communication plans including collateral, email, direct mail, advertising, and social media.
Proficient with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and social networks.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation of marketing and communications plans to educate customers about energy efficiency.
Develop on- and offline marketing materials including website content, print materials, email communications, brochures, etc.
Own the development and delivery of written reports and project updates for client meetings and vendor partners (virtual or in-person).
