Job summary

Ameren Illinois seeks a Marketing Specialist to support planning, development and execution of marketing strategies for energy efficiency programs with utility and government clients in Illinois.

You will collaborate with design, program managers and outreach teams to write email campaigns, update collateral, ensure brand consistency, monitor campaign results and prepare status reports for client meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or related field and 3+ years in marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience writing and editing copy, emails and collateral.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors and partners.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and operate within core values.
• Implement marketing and communications plans to educate customers about energy efficiency.
• Develop on- and offline marketing materials including website content, direct mailers, email communications, brochures, testimonials, incentive applications forms, email and direct mail campaigns, Program Ally newsletters, etc.
• Provide written reports and updates in client facing meetings (may be virtual or in-person).
• Project manage all elements of assigned marketing projects and work closely with graphic design team to develop brand compliant materials.
• Prepare weekly agendas to communicate project statuses to internal and external teams.
