Job summary

Walker-Miller Energy Services is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support the execution of marketing strategies for energy efficiency programs in Illinois. You will work with the Marketing Manager and teams to develop and deliver communications across emails, collateral, and print, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.

The role requires 3-5 years in marketing, strong writing and presentation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in marketing, advertising, public relations, or consulting environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Cross-functional collaboration and team player.
• Experience representing diverse cultures in marketing campaigns.
• Detail-oriented with multi-project, deadline, and priority management.
• Experience implementing marketing plans across collateral, email, direct mail, advertising and social media.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and social networking sites.
• Willingness to travel to client offices occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of marketing and communications plans educating customers about energy efficiency.
• Develop on- and offline materials including website content, print materials, email communications, brochures.
• Proof materials for accuracy and brand compliance; monitor campaign performance.
• Prepare status reports and support client meetings and events.
