Job summary

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree is required in a related field.
  • A technical degree or 5+ years of relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor's.
  • At least three years of professional experience in program development or related fields.
  • Experience with federal block grants/DOE-funded programs is preferred.
  • Knowledge of building science, weatherization, or energy programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) service providers for compliance.
  • Inspect weatherization work for proper installation and quality.
  • Evaluate deficiencies in air sealing, insulation, and HVAC systems.
  • Review energy audits and effective work scopes; verify measures are appropriate.
  • Prepare corrective actions and monitor implementation.
  • Serve as technical expert and point of contact for programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal requirements including 2 CFR Part 200.
  • Support subgrantee performance through data analysis and reporting.
  • Travel statewide to conduct inspections and related duties.
