Job summary

APTIM is seeking an Energy Advisor in Raleigh, NC to join the IRA HOMES/HEAR program team. You will oversee external communications with contractors, partners, customers and stakeholders, review rebates for compliance, and support outreach and engagement across the program.

You will collaborate with internal teams, program directors, engineers, and clients to develop training, materials, and contractor-facing resources, while ensuring safety and program rules compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of sales, customer service, or customer management experience.
• Ability to lead and execute building and maintaining relationships.
• Strong communication skills and experience with customer engagement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyse situations and propose solutions.
• Strong quantitative, analytical and decision-making abilities with attention to detail.
• Able to work effectively in a team or independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Experience with CRM systems and tracking databases.
• Sound business ethics and handling of confidential information.
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with contractors and provide program support.
• Review rebate applications for compliance and provide feedback.
• Navigate the program from initial application to post-project review.
• Improve efficiency and increase compliant applications from contractors.
• Develop and lead presentations and host office hours on program rules.
• Collaborate to develop contractor-facing program materials.
• Facilitate and coordinate trainings and meetings.
• Maintain a regular call log for contractor communications.
• Maintain system databases accurately and up-to-date.
• Direct communications with contractors and customers.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and APTIM policies.
