Job summary

Fluidstack seeks a highly analytical energy finance professional to model and diligence large-scale power projects. You will own cost models for grid interconnections, behind-the-meter generation, and related monetization strategies, coordinating with traders and engineers to deliver actionable recommendations.

You will need to defend assumptions under pressure, extract material terms from contracts, and rapidly assimilate new markets and data; strong writing and data tooling skills are

• Proven ability to defend model assumptions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Diligence on site feasibility, interconnection studies, and cost modeling for grid and behind-the-meter assets.
• Run delivered cost of power models across tariffs, gas basis, transport, heat rate, and behind-the-meter generation.
• Maintain single source of truth on site status, study milestones, and counterparty exposure.
• Prepare diligence files for tariff filings, interconnections, and generation specs for lender review.
• Support live negotiations with term sheet comparisons and sensitivity runs.
• Track market policy, ISO processes, and gas fundamentals in relevant basins.
