Job summary

Meta seeks an Energy Portfolio Manager to join the Global Energy Team, Clean Energy Asset Management. You will own a portfolio of clean energy contracts, monitor milestones, and support amendments.

You will work with legal, finance, and operations to ensure compliance and performance. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in clean energy contract management, familiarity with wind/solar contracts, and strong data analytics using G Suite, Excel, and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, energy, or environmental science, paralegal studies, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in clean energy contract management, renewable energy procurement, or energy project operations.
• Experience managing a portfolio of renewable energy contracts, especially wind and solar.
• Experience drafting official correspondence and developing partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience with G Suite, Excel, Word, and Tableau.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships.
• Experience analyzing energy generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.

Responsibilities

• Own Meta's clean energy and carbon credit requirements portfolio.
• Create and maintain documents and data for energy contracts.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract milestones.
• Manage amendments, collateral, force majeure, and related issues.
• Surface and resolve issues in contracts and operations.
• Track and analyze energy project performance (operational).
• Track financial performance of renewable energy projects.
• Monitor development and construction milestones; lead risk reporting.
• Manage contract approval and signature after execution.
• Support invoicing and ensure RECs and costs align with terms.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, purchasing, AP/AR, and other stakeholders.
