Job summary

Meta is seeking an Energy Portfolio Manager to lead the Global Energy Team’s Clean Energy Asset Management portfolio. You will oversee contracts for renewable energy and carbon-related agreements, negotiate amendments, and monitor project progress and financial performance across operating assets.

You will analyze data, surface issues, and collaborate with legal, finance, and procurement teams to ensure contract compliance and optimal energy procurement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, energy, or environmental science, paralegal studies, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in clean energy contract management, renewable energy procurement, or energy project operations.
• Experience managing a portfolio of renewable energy contracts, especially wind and solar energy supply contracts.
• Experience drafting official correspondence between counterparties and maintaining partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience with G Suite, Excel, Word, and Tableau.
• Experience in building cross-functional relationships.
• Experience interpreting energy generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.

Responsibilities

• Owns Meta's clean energy and carbon credit requirements portfolio.
• Create and maintain documents/data for clean/renewable energy contracts.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract milestones and deliverables.
• Manage amendments, collateral, force majeure, and other contract issues.
• Surface and resolve issues in contract operations.
• Monitor clean energy operational and financial project performance.
• Track project development and construction milestones; lead risk reporting.
• Oversee contract document approval and signature process.
• Support invoicing/reporting to ensure RECs and costs align with terms.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, procurement, and other stakeholders.
