Job summary

Energy Innovation Policy and Technology LLC is seeking an Analyst to join our philanthropic research team to conduct research and quantitative analysis using the Energy Policy Simulator, design and analyze policy scenarios, and produce concise written and visual outputs for philanthropy partners.

The role emphasizes data synthesis, model maintenance, and communicating findings through reports, memos, and presentations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of educational and/or professional experience in climate, energy, or environmental analysis.
• Experience interpreting policy and understanding energy models.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Modify and run energy and climate models, focusing on EPS; design and run policy scenarios.
• Support EPS maintenance, bug identification, and feature proposals; learn Vensim.
• Develop and support other models (spreadsheet, Vensim, GCAM) for scenario analysis.
• Use AI agents to conduct research and develop quantitative models.
• Perform advanced data analysis on large datasets to identify trends and inform policy scenarios.
