PEG, LLC, based in Fairfax, VA, is seeking an Energy Analyst to join its Building Energy Modeling team. The role focuses on modeling energy usage, interpreting building documents, and creating 3D energy models to summarize home efficiency.

The position emphasizes accuracy and collaboration with management to resolve project challenges, with a hybrid work option after a 90-day review and strong emphasis on data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Energy/Sustainability or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in data entry or data analysis in school or professional settings.
• Experience with energy efficiency programs (Energy Star, LEED, Green Building) is a plus.
• Experience with energy modeling software (Ekotrope, REMrate, Google SketchUp) is a plus.
• On the job training will be provided and required.

Responsibilities

• Generate energy efficiency summaries using energy modeling software.
• Analyze construction components affecting energy efficiency and compliance with HERS, ENERGY STAR, LEED, and related programs.
• Develop and deliver pre- and post-construction compliance reports.
• Maintain project data using Excel, SharePoint, and PEG portals for accuracy and accessibility.
• Identify auditing discrepancies and propose corrective solutions.
