Job summary

Harvard University is seeking an Energy Performance Engineer in Boston to oversee continuous evaluation and commissioning of energy systems across campus. You will work with Clockworks and data analytics to identify faults, drive energy savings, and coordinate retro-commissioning activities with teams and external contractors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Energy Engineering or related field.
  • Background in building automation and commercial HVAC operation.

Responsibilities

  • Review system fault history to identify problems and mitigate energy deficiencies.
  • Ensure energy data trends are collected and stored properly.
  • Identify energy issues using analytics and provide an action plan.
  • Assist in development of energy conservation measures and scopes of work for contractors.
  • Maintain inventory of energy diagnostics tools and perform basic field investigations.
  • Monitor data to verify ECM performance and energy savings.
