Job summary

Harvard University’s Harvard Medical School seeks an Energy Performance Engineer to evaluate energy systems, perform retro-commissioning, and coordinate ECM initiatives across facilities. You will interact with stakeholders to improve campus energy performance and reliability.

The role requires expertise in building automation, data analytics, and familiar platforms such as Clockworks, Siemens, and Trane. The position involves on-site and hybrid work within Boston’s Longwood Medical Area.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Energy Engineering, BAS engineering, Commissioning, Energy Management or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Use Clockworks to review fault history and identify problems affecting energy trends.
  • Ensure energy data trends are collected and stored properly.
  • Analyze data with facilities analytics tools to identify energy issues and propose action plans.
