Job summary

Environmental Health & Engineering, Inc. (EH&E) is hiring a Field Engineer in Newton, MA to join the Commissioning Team. You will support commissioning, retro-commissioning, data collection and analysis, and decarbonization efforts for built environments.

You'll learn EH&E offerings, work with senior staff, and contribute to proposal development, budgeting, and client deliverables in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or DED required.
• BS degree in Mechanical, Facilities, or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• 0+ years of experience required.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in the field with clients and contractors; office data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand construction drawings, schematics, data and reports.
• Assist in proposal development and project budgeting with takeoff estimates.
• Review equipment specifications and help develop manuals for operators.
• Evaluate mechanical systems to meet performance requirements using engineering principles.
• Process and analyze data using engineering tools; support quality control and reporting.
• Communicate findings clearly to colleagues and clients; support stakeholder meetings.
