Southern States Cooperative, Inc. is offering a Summer 2027 Energy Operations Internship for motivated college students. The program exposes you to energy operations, logistics, customer service, safety practices, and cooperative business management alongside experienced team members.

Interns will gain hands-on experience, mentorship from professionals, and opportunities to present a final project. Housing and transportation must be arranged by the intern.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Business, Agribusiness, Energy Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related program.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Interest in operations and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work in both office and field environments.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support daily energy operations activities
• Assist with inventory and logistics planning
• Observe customer service and account management processes
• Participate in safety meetings and training
• Analyze operational processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Complete a meaningful summer project and presentation
• Shadow energy operations team members and gain field exposure where applicable
