Southern States Cooperative invites students to participate in the Summer 2027 Energy Operations Internship. This program offers hands-on exposure to energy operations, logistics, and customer service while working alongside experienced professionals.

Interns gain mentorship, networking opportunities with leaders, and contribute to a final project presentation. Participants must be enrolled in a relevant program, demonstrate strong organization and communication skills, and be able to work both

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Business, Agribusiness, Energy Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related program.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Interest in operations and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work in both office and field environments.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily energy operations activities
• Assist with inventory and logistics planning
• Observe customer service and account management processes
• Participate in safety meetings and training
• Analyze operational processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Complete a meaningful summer project and presentation
• Shadow energy operations team members and gain field exposure where applicable

Southern States is seeking motivated college students interested in energy operations, business management, and customer service for our Summer Internship Program. This internship offers exposure to energy operations, logistics, customer service, safety practices, and cooperative business management while working alongside experienced team members.

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
