Job summary
San Diego Unified School District is seeking an Energy Management System Specialist to develop and implement a centrally controlled energy management system at Physical Plant Operations in San Diego, CA. The role requires monitoring, operating, and maintaining the EMS and supporting the district energy program.
The position offers a 40-hour workweek on a 12-month schedule with a competitive hourly rate and potential bilingual differential where applicable.
Qualifications
- Three years of experience in HVAC, controls, or energy management preferred including retrofit training.
- Experience with a computerized energy management control system.
- Technical HVAC courses are desirable but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of the centrally controlled EMS.
- Operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain the EMS.
- Support district energy/utilities management program.
