STEC is seeking a Legal Specialist to provide administrative, organizational, and legal support to the Legal Department. You will handle contract administration, records management, regulatory filings, and collaboration with executives, outside counsel, and regulators to ensure compliant and timely delivery of legal services.

The role requires 3–5 years of paralegal or similar experience, a 2-year degree or paralegal certification, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Paralegal experience (3–5 years) in legal support.
• Experience with board governance, employment law, contracts, real estate, or regulatory compliance is beneficial.
• Valid Texas Driver License is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, revise, proofread, format, and distribute legal correspondence and documents.
• Maintain legal files, records, databases, and document management systems.
• Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and calendars for the legal department.
• Assist with contract intake, routing, and filing; monitor contract expirations and renewals.
• Coordinate with outside counsel regarding pleadings, discovery, and invoices.
• Maintain corporate records, governance documents, and regulatory filings.
