Job summary

Arizona Public Service Co. seeks an Energy Innovation Program Consultant to lead programmatic aspects of key Energy Innovation and Technology initiatives, coordinating across business units to maximize value and ensure successful delivery.

The role manages budgets, work plans, and success metrics, provides technical assessments and trend analyses, and communicates with stakeholders to support regulatory and planning activities in a dynamic energy landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, IT or related field and 8 years of related experience in energy sectors.
• In lieu of degree, 12 years of directly related experience in power and gas sectors.
• Knowledge of emerging energy technologies and related business models.
• Strong communication, presentation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the program management and operations of Energy Innovation initiatives.
• Oversee budgeting, work plans, risk, and progress reporting.
• Coordinate with multiple business units, customers, and vendors for program delivery.
• Perform advanced technical assessments and trend analyses to guide decisions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support regulatory and business planning activities with clear status updates.
• Manage program risks and issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Represent the program in forums and committees with effective, persuasive communication.
