Arizona Public Service - APS is seeking an Energy Innovation Program Consultant to lead and advance strategic initiatives across customer and utility-focused programs. You will oversee budgets, develop work plans, track success metrics, and coordinate with multiple business units and external partners to deliver high-impact outcomes.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, plus ability to align technical requirements with business goals and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with 8+ years in power and gas sector; regulatory and tech insights.
• Alternative: 12+ years directly related experience in energy sectors.
• Knowledge of emerging energy technologies and business models (solar, storage, EV).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage programmatic aspects for Energy Innovation initiatives.
• Develop POC test plans and use cases for integration into programs.
• Manage project work plans and secure approvals across departments.
• Provide oversight to research and analysis teams on emerging tech.
• Monitor budgets and report progress to maximize ratepayer value.
• Coordinate with regulatory, leadership and stakeholder groups.
