Job summary

Permanent Placements LLC is recruiting on behalf of a leading global energy and infrastructure practice for an associate with 2–7+ years of experience in energy and construction transactions in Houston.

You will draft and negotiate EPC and related contracts, advise on O&M, procurement, and other construction agreements, and support large-scale projects across renewable energy, conventional power, oil & gas, and other developments with a top-tier team.

Qualifications

  • 2–7+ years of construction and infrastructure transactional experience.
  • Experience with energy projects, including renewable energy, conventional power, oil & gas, or related infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate EPC agreements.
  • Advise on O&M, procurement, supply, and other construction-related contracts.
  • Support large-scale energy and infrastructure projects, including renewable energy, conventional power, oil & gas, and other project development initiatives.
  • Work closely with a highly regarded team on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions.

Our client, a leading global energy and infrastructure practice, is seeking an associate with 2–7+ years of experience in energy and construction transactions to join its growing team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value domestic and international energy and infrastructure projects, advising developers, sponsors, utilities, and other industry participants across a broad range of project development and construction matters.


Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and negotiate EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) agreements
  • Advise on O&M (Operations & Maintenance), procurement, supply, and other construction-related contracts
  • Support large-scale energy and infrastructure projects, including renewable energy, conventional power, oil & gas, and other project development initiatives
  • Work closely with a highly regarded team on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions

Qualifications
  • 2–7+ years of construction and infrastructure transactional experience
  • Experience with energy projects, including renewable energy, conventional power, oil & gas, or related infrastructure sectors
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
  • Excellent academic credentials and communication abilities
  • Active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction
