Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full life-cycle recruiting for our U.S. operations, based out of any HBK office.

This role owns the hiring process end-to-end — from sourcing and screening through offer negotiation and onboarding — with a strong emphasis on building a pipeline of qualified engineering and energy industry talent that keeps pace with our growth. Work locations: San Antonio or Spring, TX, with national scope to recruit across HBK’s engineering

Qualifications

• Five+ years of full life-cycle recruiting in engineering or utility sectors.
• Experience recruiting engineers, designers, project managers.
• Knowledge of utility infrastructure projects (electric, telecom).
• Experience with passive candidate sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter and AI search.
• Experience with high-volume requisitions across dispersed locations.
• Proficient with ATS/HRIS (iCIMS preferred) and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead full life-cycle recruiting for HBK’s U.S. operations.
• Source and engage candidates via job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI search, associations, referrals.
• Build talent pipelines for engineering and energy roles nationwide.
• Represent HBK at career fairs and industry events.
• Manage offers, negotiations, and pre-onboarding checks such as background screens.
• Track recruiting metrics and market trends to improve time-to-fill.
