Trane Technologies is offering a 12-week summer Energy Engineer Internship across North America. The role involves diagnosing energy opportunities, performing energy analyses, and collaborating on reporting and software usability enhancements.

Applicants must be engineering students eligible for summer internship programs and able to work on-site in the U.S. The internship focuses on energy analysis projects, field energy audits, client interviews, and development of energy conservation

Qualificações

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Engineering throughout the internship period.
• U.S. citizen or have legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Account Managers and Energy Engineers to diagnose energy opportunities at customer facilities and propose small energy projects.
• Provide technical analysis and project risk assessment for energy projects.
• Shadow and perform building walk-throughs to identify energy conservation measures in various facilities.
• Collaborate on developing reporting capabilities from a software and usability perspective; explore new technologies.
• Prescribe best methods for measurement and verification of system performance during acquisition.
• Analyze data outputs for trends and deviations; investigate as needed.
• Assist with Preliminary Audits, Benchmarking, Site Surveys, and Interviews for opportunities.
• Collect, analyze, and develop benchmark summary reports detailing building or system performance.
