Job summary

CPL is seeking a Mechanical or Energy Engineer with 5+ years of energy experience to lead energy audits, benchmarking studies, and EPC development for diverse building projects. You will identify high-impact opportunities, work with clients, and deliver practical efficiency solutions.

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will navigate incentives and regulations to maximize value, improve building performance, and advance CPL's sustainability goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering required.
  • 5+ years of energy engineering, energy audits, and building performance analysis.
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) credential preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead energy audits, benchmarking studies, and feasibility assessments to identify energy-saving opportunities and support Energy Performance Contract development.
  • Partner with clients and internal engineering teams to develop, evaluate, and implement energy conservation measures for K-12 and commercial building projects.
  • Navigate incentive programs, regulatory requirements, and technical reviews to maximize project value and successful outcomes.
