Job summary

CPL is seeking a qualified energy engineering professional to lead audits, feasibility studies, and EPC development for K-12 and commercial buildings. You will work with clients and internal engineering teams to evaluate and implement energy conservation measures, ensuring compliant and high-value outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring a 5+ year track record in energy engineering, strong knowledge of HVAC systems, and credentials such as CEM or CEA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering with 5+ years of energy engineering, energy audits, and building performance analysis.
  • CEM or CEA credential, with strong knowledge of HVAC systems, energy codes, ASHRAE standards, and utility/incentive programs.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex energy systems and communicate recommendations to clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead energy audits, benchmarking studies, and feasibility assessments to identify energy-saving opportunities.
  • Partner with clients and internal engineering teams to develop, evaluate, and implement energy conservation measures for K-12 and commercial projects.
  • Navigate incentive programs, regulatory requirements, and technical reviews to maximize project value and outcomes.
