Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc in Asbury Park, NJ is seeking an Energy Engineer II to join our energy consulting team. You will conduct level I-III energy audits per ASHRAE, perform whole-building energy modeling, and evaluate feasibility of renewable projects for real estate applications.

You'll write technical reports, perform field inspections, manage small project portfolios, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering with energy efficiency experience.
• Experience with energy modeling programs (eQuest, EnergyPlus, EnergyPro).
• Prior client and project management experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct level I, II, III energy audits per ASHRAE standards and model energy use for diverse assets.
• Perform feasibility analyses of renewable energy projects for real estate applications.
• Write, review, and edit technical reports; conduct field inspections and tests.
• Manage small project portfolios, track budgets, hours, and milestones; coordinate with teams and clients.
• Review contractor submittals and assist with invoicing and forecasting; participate in meetings.
