Job summary

Partner Energy in the United States seeks an Energy Engineer II to perform facility surveys, energy audits per ASHRAE, energy modeling, and performance analysis as part of a consulting team.

You will evaluate renewable energy feasibility for real estate, prepare technical reports, manage small project portfolios, liaise with clients, and ensure quality and timely delivery. Travel up to 25% is expected; a Bachelors in Engineering and 3 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience in energy efficiency or related field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) is a plus.
• Experience with energy modeling programs and building systems.
• Prior client and project management experience.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering staff to conduct level I, II, III energy audits per ASHRAE standards and whole-building energy modeling.
• Conduct feasibility analyses of renewable energy generation projects for real estate applications.
• Write, review, and edit technical reports.
• Perform field inspections and functional performance tests.
• Begin to manage a small portfolio of projects on time, on budget, and with technical proficiency; oversee budgets and milestones.
