Lancesoft in Newark, NJ, seeks a Multifamily energy efficiency program manager to oversee scope, schedule and budget of energy efficiency projects in compliance with the BPU Order and procedures.

You will interface with associates, vendors and customers to ensure program rules, cost effectiveness, and timely reporting. QA/QC experience and knowledge of ECMs are required; travel within client territory may be needed.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in energy efficiency or related field; 5 years of program experience.
  • Or 9 years of experience in energy efficiency programs in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience forecasting financial spend and managing milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage processes for implementing energy efficiency projects.
  • Interface with associates, vendors and customers to ensure compliance and timely reporting.
  • Customize project proposals to maximize incentives and energy savings.
  • Coordinate activities of business development, trade allies and vendors.
  • Review vendor deliverables and invoices for accuracy.
  • Perform QA/QC and apply energy savings knowledge to oversight.
  • Conduct site visits and monitor project status for management reporting.
  • Travel within client territory as needed.

Job description

Length of Assignment: 9+ months –possibility to extend based on performance/position need Pay range: $66.94 - 88.54/hr on w2 (all inclusive) Hybrid mode: Minimum in office or in the field three days per week.

Job Summary
  • Provide Multifamily program management oversight over scope, schedule and budget of energy efficiency projects in compliance with the BPU Order and *** procedures.
  • Ensure projects meet all program requirements, including project scope and cost effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain the processes for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs in accordance with requirements for the Multifamily program
  • Interface with *** associates, vendors, customers and outside consultants to assure the Program rules and requirements are maintained, the projects are cost effective, and the information needed for management and regulatory reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required;Apply knowledge in energy savings measures and techniques to program and project oversight.
  • Need to be familiar with residential and commercial energy efficiency program incentive structures.
  • Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and direct the activities of vendors and contractors.
  • Review vendor deliverables.
  • Monitor vendor performance and review/process vendor invoices.
  • Ensure vendor and employee compliance with safety protocols and practices.
  • Compile and analyze data from various projects / sources to monitor the status of customer projects and report to management.
  • Projects may include the installation of various energy conservation measures (ECMs) such as HVAC, lighting, motors, energy management systems, etc., as appropriate for the program.
  • Analyze performance results for management reports.
  • Provide monthly project status forecasts.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests as necessary.
  • During storm restoration efforts, may be required to perform functions outside of routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.

  • Develop and customize a customer’s project proposal to maximize incentives and energy savings by combining commercial & industrial program incentive structures.
  • Coordinate and direct the activities of business development, trade allies, and vendors.
  • Review vendor deliverables.
  • Monitor vendor performance and review/process vendor invoices.
  • Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required;Apply knowledge in energy savings measures and techniques to program and project oversight.
  • Perform project site visits as required.
  • Compile and analyze data from various projects / sources to monitor the status of customer projects and report to management.
  • Projects may include the installation of various energy conservation measures (ECMs) such as HVAC, lighting, motors, energy management systems, etc., as appropriate for the program.
  • Analyze performance results for management reports.

  • Must be proficient with working independently while maintaining and applying working knowledge of *** Standards of Business Controls and meet management’s expectations for effective internal business controls.
  • Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure vendor and employee compliance with safety protocols and practices.
Job Specific Qualifications
  • B.S. Degree plus 5 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, or related fields.
  • In lieu of a degree, 9 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, or related field
  • Experience processing milestone-based construction payments and forecasting financial spend
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency measures, implementation, and cost
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & MS Word)
  • Commitment to process improvement and attention to detail
  • Able to travel within Client territory to conduct meetings with customers, perform inspections, and manage relationships with contractors
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Desired Vendor management Invoicing skills.
