Job summary

Cascade Energy seeks an Engineer II with Energy Efficiency and RCx experience to assess operations and identify energy-saving opportunities in industrial and commercial facilities. You will lead projects, model optimization, and write feasibility reports, while ensuring quality control and peer support.

The role emphasizes on-site client engagement, energy-savings analysis, and growth of client relationships with a fully remote possibility for candidates residing in NY, NJ, CT, PA, RI, MA, VT,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 1–5 years engineering experience, preferably in energy sectors.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, compressed air, steam, data-logging, electrical distribution, and control systems.
• Experience in energy efficiency in commercial/industrial facilities.
• Experience with retro-commissioning (RCx) and SEM.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects with overall management, direction, and accountability.
• Compute energy savings for system changes using established tools.
• Engage on-site with clients to identify energy-efficiency opportunities.
• Grow client relationships and identify opportunities for additional work.
• Prepare energy-efficiency reports and maintain data logs and compliance.
