Job summary

Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Utilities Company, part of the PPL Corporation family, seek a Program Manager to lead energy efficiency initiatives. This role blends independent work with supervision to promote and deliver programs across our service territory.

You will manage budgets, coordinate with partners, analyze metrics, and ensure compliance with program guidelines while engaging with internal teams and external partners to increase participation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in economics, finance, math, engineering, business, or related field.
• 2+ years of project or program management experience.
• Proficient oral and written communication to develop presentations and interface with internal teams, external agencies, and customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to tailor approach to diverse audiences.
• Strong information organization skills (quantitative & qualitative).
• Comfortable working independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Embodies safety and communicates safety expectations to partners and customers.
• Represent the Company and its values with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain understanding of energy efficiency program content, guidelines, and eligibility.
• Monitor and manage program budgets and forecasts; review invoices and accruals on time.
• Monitor program metrics to ensure targets are met and coordinate with teams to resolve data quality issues.
• Collaborate with contracted partners on activities, materials, training, and customer service expectations.
• Understand contractual obligations and manage procurement activities ahead of contract expirations.
• Outline strategies to build customer awareness and participation in programs.
• Identify opportunities to engage in community events and conferences to promote programs.
• Support independent evaluation processes and partner engagement.
