Job summary

Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Utilities Company, part of the PPL Corporation family, seek a Contract Administrator for the Project Engineering team. You will lead sourcing, contracting, and administration of capital projects across energy generation and facility initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree and strong negotiation/media skills, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills; CP/M, CPSM certifications preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with coordination across stakeholders.
• Excellent financial analysis and communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of utilities/sourcing terminology and processes is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Executes sourcing functions for capital projects including bidding, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers.
• Drafts and edits service, material, and equipment contracts; NDAs and IT protection agreements.
• Drafts change orders/amendments for capital projects.
• Builds relationships with internal stakeholders to align with strategic direction.
• Issues Purchase Orders for goods/services related to projects.
• Ensures compliance with policies and maintains auditable records.
• Identifies alternate sources and opportunities with diverse suppliers.
• Monitors supplier performance and delivery; assists with Oracle processing issues.
• Supports Accounts Payable with invoice resolution.
• Drives continuous improvement with suppliers and internal customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Senior Manager/Lead Contract Administrator.
