Job summary

Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Utilities Company are seeking a proactive Energy Efficiency Programs Coordinator to promote and oversee the delivery of energy efficiency initiatives. You will work under supervision with the manager, ensuring compliance, budget discipline, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include understanding program guidelines, coordinating with contracted partners, managing data quality, and driving customer awareness through outreach and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, math, engineering, business, or related field.
• 2+ years of project or program management experience.
• Ability to develop presentations and interface with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work under pressure, ambiguity, and dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Embodies and supports safety efforts and sets expectations for safe work practices with partners.
• Represent the Company and its values with stakeholders and customers.
• Develop and maintain understanding of energy efficiency program content and guidelines.
• Monitor and manage program budgets and forecasts; review invoices and accruals.
• Monitor and report on program metrics to meet targets and resolve data quality issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contractors on activities and performance.
• Understand contractual obligations with partners and manage procurement ahead of expirations.
• Outline strategies to build customer awareness and participation in programs.
• Engage in community events and conferences to raise program awareness.
• Assist in evaluation processes and partner engagement.
• Develop networks of stakeholders to ensure program awareness.
• Provide back up to other Energy Efficiency positions.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in economics, finance, math, engineering, business, or related field
