Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities for improvement and/or suggests improved methods.
• Performs engineering assignments in design, construction, performance enhancement, cost effectiveness, operation, and maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
• Coordinates activities of engineers and technicians on projects as needed.
• Supports plant operations with engineering-based troubleshooting, analysis and resolution.
• Assists with development of station/engineering goals, budgets, programs and procedures.
• Plans and controls all activities to provide an accident-free workplace.
• Directs coop and bargaining unit employees on installations and testing, as instructed.
