Job summary

HEPCO, Inc. seeks an Energy Efficiency Adviser to promote energy efficiency programs to end customers, contractors, engineers, architects, and others who provide energy-efficient equipment or services.

You will foster relationships with trade allies, develop projects directly with customers, and represent the program at industry events while utilizing CRM tools for lead management. NJ residency is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, understandable language.
• High-volume client and stakeholder management.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with trade allies to maximize project submissions.
• Develop projects directly with customers and represent the program at events.
• Learn and utilize CRM tools for project and lead management.
• Cultivate, track, and manage program leads and project progress.
• Review and validate project workbooks for technical accuracy.
• Discuss on-site energy efficiency opportunities with customers and site staff.
• Prepare written reports for customers and program leadership.
