Job summary

New York Technology Partners seeks an Energy Efficiency Project Specialist to drive outreach and education for energy efficiency programs in New Brunswick, NJ. You’ll engage contractors, train allies, and develop projects with customers to advance program goals.

Responsibilities include field outreach, preparing presentations, and coordinating with case managers to close out projects. This role requires strong communication and fieldwork capability.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in Business or Technical field or 5+ years’ experience in sales/account management.
• 1+ years’ experience with energy efficiency products with a utility/government/non-profit/public agency.

Responsibilities

• Engage, train and support contractors/engineering firms/consultants/distributors as program allies within the Commercial & Industrial Programs.
• Foster relationships with program allies to maximize the number and size of their submitted projects.
• Develop projects directly with our client’s customers.
• Place outbound calls to new and existing customers to meet energy saving targets.
• Develop and deliver program presentations to spur project activity.
• Attend weekly virtual team meetings and monthly in-person workshops with the Outreach Manager.
