Job summary

New York Technology Partners in New Brunswick, NJ seeks an Outreach Specialist (Energy or Utility) for a permanent, full-time role. You will lead outreach to promote the energy efficiency program to business customers, contractors, manufacturers, distributors and engineers, and represent the utility at industry events.

You will track progress toward targets, report participation, develop solutions to meet productivity and client satisfaction goals, and collaborate with colleagues on business

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Business or 3+ years experience in sales/account management
• Ability to translate technical terms for varied audiences
• Strong lead generation and sales closing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Team player with collaborative attitude
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within NJ up to 75%

Responsibilities

• Promote the Client energy efficiency program to business customers and related firms
• Recruit and engage contractors, engineering firms, manufacturers, and distributors
• Track progress toward program targets and report participation
• Develop solutions to meet productivity, quality and client satisfaction goals
• Represent CLIENT at industry events and deliver program presentations
• Capture sales activity in CRM and manage leads to drive energy savings
• Collaborate with colleagues on business development activities
