Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking an Energy Auditor I to assess small business properties, recommend efficiency upgrades, and guide customers through rebate programs. The role involves on-site visits, data collection, and coordination with utility clients.

You will install energy-saving devices, communicate findings clearly, and help clients participate in energy efficiency initiatives while maintaining high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in residential building construction or HVAC systems.
• Energy efficiency certifications (e.g., HEP, BPI) preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Promote energy efficiency programs through scheduled assessments.
• Conduct on-site energy audits and identify energy saving opportunities.
• Install energy saving devices and document findings.
• Explain rebates and program benefits to customers.
• Enter data into spreadsheets to track savings and projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and team for program improvements.
