Job summary

Southern Company is seeking a data-savvy analyst to support Demand Side Management program evaluation and regulatory filings across GPC, APC and MPC. You will ensure compliance with PSC orders, lead EM&V activities, and coordinate data requests with internal partners and vendors.

The role requires strong Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python skills, plus experience with regulatory processes and program evaluation in energy efficiency. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in a relevant field.
• Experience with regulatory filings and data requests is ideal.
• Strong Excel and data analytics skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation efforts for DSM programs with focus on IRP compliance.
• Support IRP DSM filing, witness prep and data requests.
• Lead RFP efforts for DSM program implementation and design.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver DSM performance data.
• Manage contracts, budgets and vendor relationships.
