Job summary

Southern Company Services is seeking a data-driven analyst to support the Energy Efficiency Design and Evaluation team. You will help ensure timely, accurate DSM regulatory activities and program compliance with IRP for Georgia Power, Alabama Power, and Mississippi Power.

You will lead evaluations, manage data requests, and collaborate with internal partners and vendors. Knowledge of EM&V, DERs, and regulatory processes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master's preferred.
• 2+ years in Energy Efficiency, DSM, or regulatory-related roles.
• Experience with regulatory filings and data requests is ideal.
• Strong Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, and SAS skills.
• Travel up to 25% of the time (in-state and nationally).
• Experience with EM&V, regulatory analytics, and program evaluation is preferred.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support evaluation efforts for DSM programs with a focus on regulatory compliance.
• Support IRP planning, DSM filing, and design efforts with witnesses and data requests.
• Lead RFP activities to support DSM program implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate contracting across vendors and ensure data consistency in reporting.
• Analyze DSM performance data and provide updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements and manage cross-functional initiatives.
