Job summary

Willdan Lighting & Electric, a division of Willdan Group Inc., seeks an Energy Efficiency Auditor to prospect customers, perform energy assessments, and craft solutions for lighting upgrades. Travel up to 50% across Maryland counties and present proposals to close projects under Energy Efficiency Programs.

The role supports sales goals and requires strong communication, organization, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deliver high-quality results.
• Demonstrate collaboration with diverse stakeholders and strong customer service in a growth environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prospect eligible customers for energy efficiency assessments.
• Conduct energy assessments and develop solutions for lighting and other measures.
• Present proposals and sell projects by completing required documents for Energy Efficiency Programs.
• Travel up to 50% across Montgomery, Frederick, and Carroll counties in Maryland.
• Develop sales quotations and meet monthly goals.
• Attend in-person sales team meetings as directed.
• Engage with customers, vendors and subcontractors to maintain relationships.
