Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead energy projects in Portland, OR. The role focuses on developing strategies, goals, and objectives to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery with high client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include resource planning, scheduling, cost controls, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes. A Bachelor's in CM/Engineering and 5+ years of experience, plus OSHA 30, are required. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction is required.
  • Completed OSHA 30 class is required.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies required resources to achieve project goals.
  • Generates preliminary assessments, technical solutions, fee proposals, presentations, studies, and general support.
  • Primary contact for project engineering staff during construction.
  • Transitions project management and engineer activities from design to construction phase and construction to completion phase.
  • Communicates with the General Contractor, Architect, Engineer, Owner, and other stakeholders.
  • Assists the business development team in responding to requests for proposal and bid process.
